Wellers Auctioneers ltd has been a household name in Surrey for over a century originally as auctioneers of livestock based in the historic town of Guildford. After the closure of the livestock markets in 2000 Wellers moved its business to Chertsey and refocussed its business away from livestock and into consumer retail returns. Over the last ten years the business has further developed to include archirectural salvage, plant and machinery, jewellery and antiques. In the current year Wellers is expanding its medical auction business with a view to becoming a leading player within this market place.
In addition to the19th C auction house in Chertsey which is owned by the company Wellers also operates regular machinery sales from a site in Longcross which is situated between Chertsey and Virginia Water.
