Technical Director at Avaus Dialog
Finland
If you exclude delivering papers as a youngster, and working summers as office assistant, my work career started 1996 at the Helsinki University of Technology, assisting computer department's webmistress.
After that I worked as a webmaster in Finnish internet service provider named DLC, company run by Jaakko and Antti Rytsölä (you might have heard of their Lamborghinis), and after Saunalahti fusion in business support and sales.
1999 my ex-colleagues got me working for top finnish advertising agency, PHS Interactive. Later on the company was integrated with PHS Direct, to form TEQUILA\Helsinki, and my experience and customer relation skills were better used as a project manager.
After eight funny and very educational years, March 2008, I felt I wanted new challenges and accepted invitation from a ex-colleague to join Flash Fabriek (part of Trainers’ House Plc).
Our management didn't feel like Flash Fabriek was part of Trainers' House strategy, and like some of Satama Interactive's other heritage, the business unit was disintegrated. I continued working as Technical operations manager in other units, but felt disconnected and slightly out of place.
Come December 2009 and I've started at Avaus Dialog as Technical Director. It's smaller company than Trainers' House, specialized in customer relations, loyalty programs, marketing and sales opportunities in digital life we live.
Liaisons with advertising and marketing companies, managing creatives, technical experience, brand understanding, TBWA's Disruption working methods, social media and changes it has brought.
