I am a member of Real-time communication team at Nokia Devices in Helsinki. My job is to develop real-time applications (e.g. instant messaging, presence, Voice over IP and videoconferencing) on Maemo devices with Internet protocols such as SIP and XMPP.

I participated in the Nomadic Application (NomAp) project funded by Tekes and industry partners including Nokia and Ericsson. My task was to develop a service migration demonstrator which seamlessly transfers VoIP services and sessions across PCs/laptops and Nokia Internet tablets (e.g. N800) by applying SIP. I wrote my master thesis on this topic, which was approved with the grade excellent (5/5). I also published a research paper named "Real-time Service Migration for VoIP Services" in IEEE UBICOMM08 conference.
